Jungle Gym
Project Brief
Design a playground that will entertain and teach children to connect with nature with a budget of $1 mil. Include contraptions that can replicate animal behavior.
Overview
Jungle Gym is an interactive playground designed for children aged 5-12. The first floor of the exhibit is fully wheelchair accessible, while access to the upper levels is provided through engaging climbing structures. Each structure within the exhibit is thoughtfully designed to replicate the unique habitats and homes of various animals, creating an immersive and educational experience for kids.
Where is this playground going?
This playground would be placed on a hill that surrounds a pathway in the park and the ground would be leveled.
Let’s do some research and find inspiration!
Animals live in five unique habitats around the world:
In the diverse ecosystems of our planet, animals in rainforests climb trees, desert creatures burrow in scorching sands, marine life explores the depths of oceans, Arctic creatures navigate icy landscapes, and savannah inhabitants roam vast grasslands!
Curated structures of play that mimic animal habitat concepts and how animals interact with their environments.
