For our final assignment in IND 479 (Junior Year), we were to design for the Apple Watch SE or Ultra. We began the project by researching the product itself, developing scenarios for interacting with it, creating a flow chart, enhancing it into a low-fi wireframe, designing skinned hi-fi screens, and finally turning these frames into a prototype.
For my user personas, I developed two narratives inside the International Spy Museum in Washington DC. My first scenario involves a user using the interactive part of the museum. This user would use the watch to travel throughout the museum and use it at different stations to hold information, answer clues, and as their own personal spy gadget. For my second scenario, I created a situation geared more towards parents. In this case, the parent can communicate with their families through location tracking and a walkie-talkie function.
Next, we created flow charts based on our two scenarios. For my first scenario, I created a scenario for a user to use the watch for the interactive part of the museum. The second scenario includes using a walkie-talkie function, location tracker, and spy guide (map of the museum). In this flow chart, I used different shapes to insinuate different actions of the user.
